Things are looking up with this kid. (Who is a 6-11 center with good mobility and agility for his size. Lyons-esque, but with less of a jumper and a more tough-minded game).

Dad pointed out something yesterday on the phone. He noticed Missouri wasn't wearing teams down in the Tourney like they did in regular season. Said he thought all the extended TV timeouts were giving the other teams more time to rest.

In my opinion; and I could be wrong here, but I did not see anything out of line or "sniping" as you called it. Merely a mention of being defending national champions and another sweet sixteen. Which you replied to by personally insulting the poster? To me what the poster stated in his total post was good natured smack in reference to MU's 100 year flood. I just don't get that. Just as I don't get calling me a noxious asshole.

That has been an issue for years; I think thats why in the past you have seen alot of upsets in the tourney. The better teams are alot of times better because of depth and it shows through a long season. You get in a tournament setting where depth does not matter as much and more stops in play it negates that advantage. Roy Williams always seemed to have that problem, (that and it seems he can't get it done with his own players). It is proving itself out this year through the first two rounds with MU. Carroll and Lyons are both playing several more minutes a game then before. I think there are something like 3 extra stops in play per game during the tournament.

I went back and checked all the posts you made so far this year - you don't post all that often, so it wasn't that difficult.

EVERY SINGLE POST you have made concerning Missouri for the past three months has been derogatory. Either a swipe at the team, or its fans, or at the least one of your endless misspellings (Mizery, Muzzorah, etc.), usually unsolicited. Nothing positive, no words of congratulations, not even a single neutral, non-biased comment. NEVER. You're either bashing or saying nothing at all. Do you really think people don't notice that? So please, spare me with the "gee what did I do?" bullshit. Nobody's buying it.

Do I take swipes at mizzurah and their fans; absolutely, thats the fun of having a rival. No different than the endless "gay u", "beakers", and the like from MU fans.

My point is that you immedietely went to attacking someone personally when there was something said you regarded as sniping. I don't get that; I make broad generalizations about MU fans all the time. But find me one occasion where I have ever personally attacked any MU fan simply for being an MU fan or not agreeing with me. Not that I am by any means the model for fan behavior because God knows that I am not. I just don't understand the need to attack someone by hurling personal insults. :shrug:

The Tigers are having a great year. I enjoy seeing other Big 12 schools perform well in the spotlight. Of course, if and when they play KU....then I'm less supportive. Heh.

There's nothing fun about how you conduct yourself in this regard. No light-hearted banter, nothing positive, and you damn sure always seem to be somewhere else after Kansas loses.

What you call personal attacks I call reaping what you've sown. It really doesn't take much effort to say a couple of things here and there that could easily change the way others perceive you. If you don't want to get called for acting like an ass, don't act like one.
