I know your right, I have always loved being a wife and I really thought one day I would be his. I enjoy being a wife (and mother) when my kids were little. I had my first child when I was 19 and it was hard when they all grew up and left, I miss that, but I never thought I would be alone when they left. Oh, I would absolutely LOVE to have someone to do things for. I'm so a people pleaser. I just like knowing its something I really want to do, and not something I need in order to survive. Or maybe it's something I tell myself to make my life make sense.
The only advice I will give is that, no matter what you do in the future, take some time to do what you want/need to do right now. Pamper yourself with a hot bubble bath and some candles. Go shopping. Order pizza, put in Marley & Me, and ball your eyes out. Go for a nice long walk. Whatever helps you feel better right now. Put some things in perspective, then decide where to go from there.
