Anyone who thought Pollard didn't have talent was wrong. Period. Pollard has strengths and weaknesses like any player. It doesn't take much for people to get pissed at Pollard for missing a few tackles but nobody remembers the ones he made. This situation is pretty typical of talent evaluation on this board.

Did the Chiefs do the right thing to cut him? I don't know. I gather it was for behind the scenes things and I have no way of knowing and neither do any (most?) of you.

.

No. Pollard was a bad player here. It wasn't just Chiefs fans. Football Outsiders recognized him as the defender with the LOWEST stop rate of ANY Chiefs starter last year.

Translation: HE SUCKED ASS. HE MISSED A LOT OF TACKLES. Not just A FEW. A SHIT TON. More than ANYONE ELSE.

He "questioned" that all-knowing "53" disciple Clancy Petereater and paid the price for his insolence.

Insolence to Clancy.

Pender****.

Yay.

My greatest wish is for LJ to meet Bernard Pollard on the field of play this season.

THEN it will be on.

the guy was never supposed to be a cover two guy. ever. now that he isnt, he is excelling. period. end of story. remember before the season when he talked to no end about playing much better in a better fit for him, what he did at Purdue?

THATS EXACTLY WHAT HE IS DOING FOR THE TEXANS AND IS EXCELLING AT IT.

Pollard was playing out of position like almost every other defender last year.

I've already discussed this topic with you. I'm not going to do it again.

it didn't fit your agenda then and still doesn't. I wouldn't either.

If you wouldnt keep bringing up the same lame arguments, I wouldn't keep knocking them out of the park.
