Pioli isn't Carl. I know alot of Patriots are considered to have huge ego's but they also aren't very loyal to players. If he isn't producing he will be gone.

Cassel is a liability, and the equation will shift to a point where it is a positive for Pioli to move on him, to demonstrate his own resolve and competence...same with Haley...

The fear is that we upgrade enough that Cassel looks competent...and then he shits the bed in an important game.

So...did Cassel just complete the single worst two game stretch for any QB in Chiefs history? Honest question, just a guess.

If he continues to shit the bed in the final 3 games, certainly it will force Pioli's hand to do something, right? Anything?

If Haley is still here, I really don't think they'll draft him if they think he has any character/motivation issues. But we'll see.

I'm kinda thinking fourth dimensionally with Cody. If they do take him, they are satisfied with his character, and they will get him in shape to play all three downs. But maybe not.
