Actually I would argue you want to owe as much as possible without actually paying penalties. My taxes will be brutal this year, which I guess is both a good and a bad thing....

Hopefully buy a TV, pay off a credit card and a new washer/dryer *new to me*.

ROFL Yeah I have given up the battle of the tax return with her. She insist the money go towards something for the house. Furniture, carpet, hardwood floors, etc.
