the funniest part...I was dead set on not drinking...like...for a while...

that's where you and i differ. i bought beer when i was 16 cause i looked older in general and the facial hair was a big help. And right or wrong i prefered sticking my finger in girls who knew what they were doing and more often then not were older.

at some point as a parent you have to get over that though, one would think...

I've got to go back 7 yrs plus for that line of thinking. I quit drinking not all together but at bars and don't drink that much at home either. At the end when i still was going i was going to places that were absolute dives and holes in the wall comparred too the hot spots. Hopefully you have better luck with alcohol than i did.
