Daytona 500 is the most exciting track on the NASCAR circuit. It's also of the the world's ten most dangerous racetracks.
2010 Daytona 500: Jamie McMurray Wins -- McMurray held off Dale Jr. to win the Daytona 500. I agree with DW, "He looked like daddy coming through there." Jr moved up 10 positions in one lap -- going from 10th to 2nd. All Jr needed was 1/2 a lap and he would've won. <iframe title="YouTube video player" class="youtube-player" type="text/html" width="480" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/9mZaSqMwWvw" frameborder="0" allowFullScreen></iframe> |

This wreck actually was caused by a car not seen in this video. Before this video footage begins, Jack Ingram lost an engine and slowed drastically. #43 Freddie Smith (the car seen in the first ten seconds here) spins and is struck by #50 Joe Fresson. Fresson is the car that comes to a stop further down and nailed by #04 Delma Cowart, resulting in the fiery crash. Don Williams is in the #68 is the car seen at 0:20 going backwards from the wall. <object width="640" height="390"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/MadptkIa0kI&hl=en_US&feature=player_embedded&version=3"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/MadptkIa0kI&hl=en_US&feature=player_embedded&version=3" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="640" height="390"></embed></object> |

I'm mostly sure owner Jim Finch and Phoenix Racing took the "tribe" to court for breach of contract. Hopefully, it didn't wind up in tribal court. |
