Savage was truly an all time great, this is pretty sad. Most fans had been waiting for him to be on TV again or atleast go into the hall of fame...he'll probably go in now it's sad it had to happen after his death.

Of all the "top guys" in the 1980s WWF, Savage was the most talented all around.
The dude was a top-level talent in the ring, and his character was flexible. He could play a face or a heel equally well, his move set translated to either face or heel. Of Vince's two biggest "stars" of that era, Savage got the best match out of both of them: Hogan at WM V and Warrior at WM VII, and that's not mentioning the fact that he had the iconic match of the era at WM III. He was a meticulous planner in the ring, very athletic, and he was great on the mic. The guy really was the total package. It's a damn shame he ****ed Stephanie McMahon and Vince held a grudge. |
if the rapture happens tomorrow, i can only hope that judgment is being meted out by the macho man. "You, you're saved, oooh yeaaah!" "You, you're going doooooowwwwwn!" *elbow off the top*
