That looks a bit odd and out of place on that tiny little car.

Now that I think about it, it IS a mans car, just a man who likes other men. While it may be a fun car to drive you cant ignore its feminine traits or allure to Adam and Steve.

That being said, I wouldn't buy one again. I loved mine, but I much prefer my S2000.

I looked at the Miata and the S2000.

Miata SE - $23K, 23/27MPG
S2000 - $32K, 18/24 MPG

So, it's a slightly larger car, but I'm paying $10K more to get worse gas mileage?

I went with the Miata.

How did Miatas become synonymous with gay guys?

Not a clue.

Personally, I suspect it's projection by guys who're secretly questioning their own sexual preferences.

I find them much better than those stupid cube shaped cars with 10 inch wheels and 100 hp that kids nowdays drive.

You mean the toaster-mobiles?

Yeah, those are "peculiar" looking at best.

Personally, I'd love to have a BMW Z-4 or a Jaguar XK, but since I'm not independently wealthy, the 2008 Miata will do me fine until it's time to get my next car (prob around 2018-2020.)

In th 03 the tried out before I bought my 04 I had to get the seat in the right place to have the shoulder room for the 04+ they made the door inserts a bit lower profile so I had no shoulder issues with any position. Plus if you want you can get a seat adapter that will drop the seat by 1 inch if you're too tall. I figure you'd have to be greater than 6'6" for height to matter.

I'm 6'8". I can just barely squeeze into a Miata, but the S2k is a no-go.

Sorry I would not buy a Mercedes- the cost to fix the many things that go wrong on them far out weighs anything the car has to offer.

Pass.

Used MB= no warranty.
I have no idea what your situation is but do you know what upkeep/maintenance runs on MB?
Purchase price is just the beginning.
Do you have a MB dealer/MB certified repair facility near you?

This :thumb:

And I would add- I really don't like the way they ride-their suspension sucks-you feel every bump in the road.
