Off yourselves painfully.

Maybe we could trade down and get a proven QB in Orton.

Methinks you are too harsh on KnowMo. All he is saying is that Denver is 1-3 because they are so good and the Chargers are 3-1 because they are so bad. DEN will beat SD because Rivers is a bad QB who is facing a rookie every bit as good as Lawrence Taylor. Denver moved ahead of KC in the Luck Bowl because the Broncos are a much stronger team. His moniker denotes Knowshon Moreno, the RB who is on the verge of becoming a perennial ProBowler any day now. If that doesn't make sense to you, then you just haven't been paying attention....

ROFL, that about sums it up. Oh, and they have cool uniforms.

This was Elway's plan all along... To haunt KC for a decade with another QB from Stanford.

Maybe this time though said Stanford QB will "pull an Elway" and refuse to play for Denver and force a trade with the Colts...

I still think Oakland, not SD, is the best team in the division.

This division sucks, though.

That's insane considering how bad we are.

Yeah that's true. If we beat SD, we'd be first place lol.

Old Dog 10-03-2011 08:51 AM

Not that it matters at all, but we would still be behind Denver based on conference record at this point, so the OP is wrong.

Yep. The winner could finish 9-7.

I feel like we would have a chance if we hadn't lost Berry and Charles.

You bet. Could have made up for the lack of preseason preparation and the loss of the TE, but not the loss of arguably the most talented pair on the team.

It kind of blows my mind that after the performance of the first two weeks we're still only a Matt Cassel WTF? away from 2-2 and a 3-way tie for first.

I think SD is gonna run away with this division. They finally are off to a good start and should only get better imo

Hey - you're right. Wonder why ESPN has Denver 4th in the division standings? Well I guess with a play here, a play there... any one of the AFCW teams could easily be the division leader right now. I mean, we're all in contention in the Luck Bowl. We might win the division. We might draft first. I think. Its too confusing. Rival fans saying "Ha Ha! You're gonna win!" Fans cheering the other team. "We're gonna draft first!" "We're only two games out of 1st!" "Yeah baby - we lost!"

Through the looking glass...
