I once watched a Chiefs line drop by 2 points in a little less than 4 hours at Caesars and it takes some serious money to move a line that much.I'll be damned if the Chiefs didn't lose the game outright and it was supposed to be considered an easy bet against the Jaguars.

I'm thinking in this case another 1/2 to a whole point could drop before Saturday's game.

This Tebow thing really is nuts. I was in a Wal Mart tonight with my kids to pick something up for my daughter. My son had a Bronco hoodie on with a big logo on the front. Neither me nor my daughter happened to have any Bronco gear on. We were approached several times and sucked into football conversations throughout the store. It was all positive stuff, mostly about Tebow.

One of the times we were standing near the book stand. I noticed the Tebow book, picked it up, read a few pages. I looked around and realized that several people were doing the same thing. I have to say it felt weird. People were standing around and talking about the book. I live in Northern California. Pretty far North. It's Niners/Raiders territory up here. It is very rare to find fans of other NFL teams in this area. They don't sell Bronco gear of any kind up here except in specialty stores.

The sad part? American culture loves to put it on a pedestal, then tear it down and laugh as it falls. And Tebow actually seems like a nice kid who is pretty clueless about the meteoric level of fame he's quickly acquired. I just hope he keeps the same level head about it all after his 10 minutes of fame are up...
