Sounds like this is where Manning is at in his recuperation now.

:hmmm:

:cuss:

even if the colts don't keep him it will drive the price up for him.

So he is wearing Depends now, that is a big step up.

So are the possible landing spots for Manning down to the Chiefs and the Phins?

bevischief 03-04-2012 05:47 PM

So he is the Borg.

No. It's down to just the Chiefs.

If they keep Peyton and draft Luck? Wow! They might take the place of Dallas or NE as the most hated team in the NFL.

O.city 03-04-2012 05:57 PM

I don't think financially they would have both those guys.

If they keep Peyton, do they trade out of the #1 pick? If so, how far?

O.city 03-04-2012 06:06 PM

If they keep Manning, the value of that pick skyrockets. I would think they would be more inclined to win now so they might be interested in some players.

I don't think it matters. It's not good business if they keep Manning.

If they're really stupid.

They have absolutely no chance to build a championship team around Manning and his $35 million cap hit.

whoman69 03-04-2012 06:19 PM

People are coming up with some stupid reasons to shy away from Manning. Really?! too healthy?! The only reason not to sign Manning is that he's not healthy enough, end of discussion.

whoman69 03-04-2012 06:22 PM

I can just see Irsay talking to Luck about signing.

"Uh hay, we just signed Peyton. Would you have a problem sitting for three or four years?"

"Would you have a problem trading me?"
