Well, when i first posted in this thread, i was under the assumption that our record would be 1-5 or something. no Bowe? whos gonna get the ball? as shitty as Cassel is, he did get Bowe the Ball, without him, ughh. The passing game will be bad. Baldwin hasnt proven a ****ing thing. Then we got nothing but midgets.

We dont know how Charles is gonna be, so chances are, without Bowe, this team after 6 games can be pretty ****ing bad.

Without Bowe we are going to see a lot of 8 yard slants to Baldwin because once he gets beyond that range, Cassel can't hit him.

Without Bowe, the o takes a big hit.


I think Baldwin has potential, but hasn't shown anything yet.


If they do let Bowe walk, it's pretty inexcusable, unless he's asking for Brees type money.

The team might be willing to pay the player though but the player might just want to play somewhere else.

With the tag, at least teams can hold onto a player for a year or two until the player caves and decides to sign long term or until they can get something in a trade.

Could you imagine how crushed you would be as a fan if the Chiefs drafted a QBOTF and then he just walked away in FA?

I just don't think you should be able to hold a player like that against his will. It would suck to lose players like that, but I think it would put somewhat more pressure on teams to win and put forth more effort in retaining players not just knowing you can slap the tag on someone.

Yep if Bowe really does pull a Vincent Jackson the Chiefs will just tag him again and probably trade him.

If it's all Pioli, how did he get Charles, DJ, and Tamba to sign deals that he did. Same with Winston.
