Good Lord. Hosmer needs some help.

Yost really did treat this as a throw away game. He purposely started 2 of the worst guys in the league in the same lineup. He gave us ZERO chance to win tonight.

Yuni, Frenchy, and as much as it sucks to say...Hosmer are just so lost at the plate. All three just hacking every swing. I would jam Hosmer every pitch he can't do anything about it right now.

I have a stupid question. Why do they throw out every ball from the pitcher that touches the dirt, but when a guy grounds out or flys out, they don't throw that ball out? Hitting it in the air or on the ground surely has to scuff the ball as much as a pitch in the dirt
