I work 4 days a week, but my days off are Wed, Sat and Sun.
I absolutely love the break in the middle of the week. |
5x8? 4x10?
Try 7x14, minimum... |

I don't have a consistent schedule, but I do have some say in it and can use it to my advantage, for instance, I work tomorrow night then don't work again for a week and not taking a day of vacation time. 4 days off a week is nice though. |
I work 4 14's and then I'm off the next 4 days
|
I work a 4x2 most weeks. Does that count?

7 x 24
Usually in the office 5 days a week for about 9 - 11 hours each day but I manage a large crew of people and have staff on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Always. So I never have time off, even if I take a vacation day or if its a holiday - still on duty - and on the phone or computer from home when not in the office. Yeah, I don't get a lot of sleep. The good side is I'm compensated very well and it looks like I'm going to finally retire at the end of this year. Woo - hoo, a day off....and more. |

We're expecting our first child in late September, and once he's here I'm moving to 4 tens, Tuesday through Friday so that the wife and I can coordinate a schedule where we only have to pay for childcare one day a week. I'm looking forward to begin a part time stay at home dad.

I wish we could work 4x10. The managers got together and asked the GM if we could switch and he said, "if I have to be here five days a week, so do you."
Who the **** said he has to be there 5 days a week. What a douchebag. |
