When I was a tween it was time to pick a horse. I picked Chiefs but don't know why exactly. I still have arrowheads that I found in Missouri while visiting my Grandparents.

As a kid I liked baseball more, because I actually played it. Logic would say I'd be an Indians fan, but Big Hurt, One Dog, Black Jack, Pudge were my guys! Much like KC they were the great team that never won it all.

i find the buffalo bills name to be offensive to all native bills

In about 2050, the Browns will need to change their name.

LMAO

When it comes to the Illini, I'm glad they stopped the Chief performances at halftime. It was an Indian version of "black face." I obviously still like the logo, however it's no longer used by the university, and that's fine.

And yeah, the bills, it was more the buffalo than the bill that I liked.

I remember going to Arrowhead in like early 80's when nobody really went and the team was horrible and we would yell we want Steve Fuller, looking back it is quite comical but I have always stuck with them win or lose.

I think my father was a huge Bono fan, oddly enough. That's when I got sucked in.

Bono was ok. He was awesome at getting the D-lineman to jump offsides. I remember a game against Seattle, he got them to jump 3 times in a row. And he had the longest QB TD run in history until it was broken by Kordell Stewart.

Another play that stands out was the first play of the game against Green Bay where he hit Sean LaChapelle for like a 65 yd gain.

I don't think it was LaChapelle but I was able to be in the stadium for that throw and to see the Chiefs come out with that for the first play was just a dream come true.

Lawrentucky residents like to pretend that they are a suburb of Overland Park.

I've been rooting for the Chiefs as long as I can remember, so I can't exactly recall the circumstance surrounding "how" - but I assume it's a combination of proximity, my dad rooting for them (even though he grew up an Eagles fan), and going to the games as a child.
