I couldn't find it either. But according to Fescoe and Maas, it is what has been happening. It shouldn't be too big of a surprise with Crennel favoring Quinn, acknowledging he doesn't believe in Cassel, and Cassel's bad play so far.

Okay, THIS is news. It has all sorts of implications, both short term and long term.

Already did it.

Twice.

Both Cassel and Quinn suck. Cassel is a ****tard, and Quinn is one of the top 5 busts in the past 10-20 years.

I don't think Crennel really favors Quinn though. He let Derek Anderson start over him in Cleveland.

Top 5? Really? I can think of at least 10 more players that were bigger busts than Quinn.

We may as well let Casshole prove to pissholy without a shadow of a doubt that he has to draft a QB in the first round in April

Has Quinn even started 16 games?...

:spock:

Shox 09-28-2012 09:50 AM

Who cares!!!!! This does not mean we are Superbowl bound or even playoff bound.

The point is we won't have to watch Cassel anymore!!!!!! We will be getting a new QB next year. This is the point.

Rejoice the Cassel era is coming to an end and it just might be sooner than we expected.

Exactly.

1st round QB that has been on the bench for the vast majority of his career. You don't call that a bust?

Put it like this.... Jamarcus Russell had more yards in one year than Quinn has in his career. Flip that any way you want, that's pathetic.

I knew it would only be a matter of time. Quinn was about to come in before Charles' 91 yard TD run. He was on the sideline with his helmet on then Charles went all Katrina on New Orleans thus momentarily saving Cassel from the inevitable. It's coming. They can't hide Casse's suckage anymore.

Good point. In comparison to Cassel though he seems to FWIW.

This is all that it really means. And even that is somewhat of a stretch. It could simply just be a motivational tactic. We'll see.

And if Quinn does get the start at some point, i highly doubt our offense will be any better, but it will at least mean the Cassel era is officially over.
