I think it behooves us to remember that CK has yet to say a word about any of this. All is babble until he makes the call about Pioli.

I fear that Dr. Evil may yet have CK's ear and has also likely conjured up some sort of spooky, New England, graveyard demon to possess Clark and influence his decisions.

Chiefs fans scared that Cassel will continue playing, so it's basically a wash.

I'll enjoy watching football this Sunday. I've stayed away from CP, the radio, and anything NFL all week so i could get over my frustrations.

My mind is in the right place now. I'll enjoy Matt Cassel continuing to hang himself.

I suppose if he gives himself enough rope to hang himself...it could be worth it. Especially if it ends with a QBotF next year.

Actually, the ratbirds defense isn't all that great is it? Pretty sure it's their offense that is pulling the cart this year but I could be wrong...

Their rep has stayed high the past few years when it probably shouldn't have, especially this year. That being said they still try get after it and perception is reality. Cassel is going to be scared as usual.

When it comes to the most relevant stats, they don't look too bad, Mr. Tombstone RJ.

6th in interception yardage.
2nd in interception touchdowns.

EDIT: Oh ... and allowing 20.8 points per game, it appears. We can't score that many until after the game is well out of hand. Through 3 quarters of play, we've scored 17, 3, 13, and 13 (I think) ... that's an average of 11.5 points ... not counting the 4th quarter by which time we're usually well out of the game.

Weis truly turned out to be a miracle worker. Thank God he didn't stay though, because Cassel probably would have seen the end of his contract as our starting QB.

Meh, it all balances out. This year their defense is worse but offense is better.

Make a move for who? There is nobody available at this point. If they're going to trade picks for somebody's backup like we always do, pass.

I believe he's saying "make a move" to mean cutting him after the season with minimal cap implications.

Can't we trade his ass and get something? Surely there's somebody out there stupid enough to give us a 5th.
