ROFL at the Bronco picks

Can't wait to see Houston or the Pats wax them again.

Newsflash. Denver's an extremely flawed team and he may regress as the season grows older...he isn't 30 anymore.

I'm sticking with my preseason pick
Pats vs Packers

Rain Man 10-23-2012 11:44 AM

In descending order, my picks are:

Bears - You have to score against them to win. Not sure that'll happen.
Falcons - You have to outscore them to win. Not sure that'll happen.
Giants - They'll get better as the season goes on.
49ers - It seems like I should rank them higher, but I can't.
Packers - See above, plus running back problems.

AFC

Patriots - I think they match up well against the Texans.
Texans - Should end up with home field in a weak division. I'm not confident in them, though.
Ravens - Getting old an injury prone. A run this year will depend on offense, not defense.
Bengals - These guys could be the dark horse if they can get out of their division alive.
Steelers - Running back problems.

So I'm going Patriots over Bears. However, the nice thing about this year is that we don't have any obvious powerhouses.

It's because you're a cock-gobbling, donkey homer.

San Diego shitting their pants has made these guys heads as big as Jugheads.

I'm sticking with my beginning-of-the-year pick: 49ers and Texans.

lcarus 10-23-2012 03:00 PM

Patriots/Giants......again.....

I'm hoping for Texans/Falcons though.

cyborgtable 10-23-2012 03:02 PM

I don't believe anyone in the AFC is close to the Texans.

I'm still sticking with the 49ers in the NFC even though the Giants look to be in their heads

?

I cited their similarity to a past Broncos team as a reason that they WON'T make the SB, and that makes me a Broncos homer?

Actually, I think it's that they remind me of the 2005 Broncos. Clearly they have a better defense, but their offense is exactly the same. It wasn't our defense that failed in the AFCCG, though.

GTFO of here. They have more offensive talent than that slapdick team had. That team was definition of fraud.

mcaj22 10-23-2012 04:09 PM

ill pick against the norm

Bears/Vikings vs Steelers

Pasta Little Brioni 10-23-2012 04:10 PM

lol

mcaj22 10-23-2012 04:14 PM

the only other person that picked the Bears is Rain Man and the Vikings have a good defense as well as some really good play makers on offense. If their pile of shit QB can actually play some decent ball they have a chance.

The Steelers is because of Todd Haley and I dont trust the Texans, Ravens or Broncos.
