The problem with your scenario is that you desire a trade for picks because you are against Geno Smith. I think it's just fear more than anything, but in any case, you believe he's a terrible prospect.

However, instead of searching for KC's own home-grown QB (like in the case where people prefer Barkley to Smith or Wilson) you claim that Cousins is an appropriate solution.

When called out by 90% of people on here that Cousins has barely any experience as a 4th round pick, and therefore is inadequate, it's your distrust of Geno Smith that causes you to leap at Cousins for being "safe".
