To be fair contracts and legality isn't always as simple as it should/could be. Especially if Pioli DID sign an extenstion like it was rumored earlier this year.

At this point I'm just tossing out guesses like anyone else.

Issuing a statement saying he is going to start looking for a new coach and Pioli's future has not been determined means Pioli has no control over his future.

It all depends on who the coach may be.

It all depends really. If Clark is looking for a Cowher/Gruden/Reid type, then this makes a ton of sense.

It would seem to put down the idea of hiring someone like the Polians though.
