no brainer. he's ascending, I want to see how he plays with a new staff in charge and perhaps some new wrinkles to the existing scheme. I know folks want him gone, we'll see.

The guy was the 30th ranked player at his position last year.

That's down from 11th in 2011.

He was 32nd in 2010 and 39th in 2009.

you have him confused with Glenn Dorsey. Honest mistake :)

srsly, they aren't signing GD and it would be good to keep Ropati at RDE with Jackson on the other end. at least for now.

Jackson was a bust as a first round pick, but he's a serviceable if unspectacular every day player in the NFL. I don't have a problem with him being signed to a league average contract if we will be retaining the same scheme.
