Well now that SkyDance and Annapurra own the rights, theoretically, they could bring it back to TV. Unfortunately since it failed on Fox, it's not likely to garner much interest.

I'm afraid you're right but these diehards don't want to give up. I for one am excited to see a fresh terminator flick. T4 was disappointing esp since I like Bale.

It may not fall in line the canon (like T4) but it was a well written, well acted and well produced program.

Which is more than I can say about 90% of all free network TV.

Like you, T3 and T4 doesn't exist in my mind because of Cameron's non-involvement and his opinion that the Terminator narrative ended at T2.

I think the original could be done better with CGI than the stop motion animation in the original. But Arnold is too old now.
