Of course, it's a devastating injury. He's easily top-5 at his position in the NFL, and his position is one of the most important positions on the field.

That said, come on, now! Some of you guys act as if we're doomed. What it's going to mean is that there will have to be more help on that side - especially against elite players. That means another TE (with Dreesen back, we've got four decent to great TEs), or sending a RB over there. You're still talking about probably the best set of WRs in the league, and the best adjustment-making QB in the league.

We'll be alright.

No shit. They'll probably just outfit him with orange and blue grappling hooks.

meh, this certainly doesn't help the Broncos but you know what? Yep, injuries are just part of the game.

That is absolutely correct. Great attitude. Who is his backup? How is Peyton's neck?

The Broncos were hoping the anchor of their offensive line could return to protect quarterback Peyton Manning before the end of the season, but medical tests on Tuesday ruled that out. The normal recovery time from the Lisfranc injury is three to four months.
Chris Clark, who was signed Friday, will step in as Denver's starting left tackle on Monday night against the Oakland Raiders. Clark started 12 games for the Indianapolis Colts last season.

That's the second time he's missed the season today. Does that mean he is out until 2015?

Chief Pote 09-18-2013 04:14 PM

Somebody just tweeted that Peyton is at the eye doctor having more eyes installed in his head.

OrtonsPiercedTaint 09-18-2013 04:21 PM

I never like seeing injuries with the exception of a couple guys that just rub me the wrong way. But I always want to line up our best against theirs, and if for some reason we win I hate hearing the other team say "Well if we had that guy" or to give them any room to talk.
