Vick, just for the lulz. Maybe we can run some wildcat with him.

isn't Kitna teaching HS math somewhere?

None of them look interesting to me. If they want to bring a rookie in to compete for the developmental spot (or to replace Bray or Daniel), I'll listen. But I'm not interested in a FA backup QB this off-season. Bigger fish to fry.

In the immortal words of Jeff Goldblum in "Jurassic Park": that's one big pile of shit.

It's debatable as to whether or not Alex Smith is a franchise QB, but he's certainly better than that list of backups and benchwarmers.

Josh McCown played well for the Bears. He'd definitely be an upgrade over Daniels.

MahiMike 01-06-2014 09:56 PM

For once, QB is not a position of need.

I've used toilet paper that looks better than that list.

A veteran starter, a veteran backup and a developmental project with upside... the last thing we need to spend more money or picks on is a QB.

We are set at QB

Starter upped his game when it really counted

Backup proved himself capable

Development QB in place.

I'm hoping to trade Daniel FOR picks and sign a cheaper one.

To each his own, but I enjoyed watching him in San Diego, he was accurate and showed a lot more arm on that 48 yarder to Jenkins than I expected to see.

21/30 with a touchdown and 82.9 qbr isn't bad at all for a guys first start, he looked like a good fit for the WCO in my opinion.
