At least the ownership was smart enough to realize that Lombardi was going to do nothing with that team.

More owners should be proactive when GMs make galactically stupid decisions.

musical chairs. Lombardi gets his cozy television job back now that Fat Scott went to record ride alongs with TD in Atlanta.

The Chiefsification of the Browns begins

Adam Schefter ‏@AdamSchefter 1m
CLEV hiring former Chiefs VP of Player Personnel Bill Kuharich to assist new Browns GM Ray Farmer, per sources. They worked together in KC.

That's a very good move for Farmer.

Hey, maybe both guys sucked and had to go. It's Cleveland, so I don't know the answers. That owner's now fired 2 coaches, 2 GMs and a CEO in his short stint as owner, and he's now got a CEO, GM and HC who all report directly to him instead of it being a HC/GM/CEO sort of chain of command. I just found it funny that people had the knives out already, without knowing the story.

And good news for the Browns, especially when it comes to the draft.

I'm curious why he's been out of football for five years...

They can fire everyone and it won't matter till they get a legit qb...oh and anyone trying to sell Hoyer as that again gets negged into oblivion.

Please explain why the Bears didn't make the POs this season in a weak NFC North then?
