I think Byrd will end up in Philly.

Colts invested a lot in Landry and have to pay Davis. I'd be shocked if they went the expensive FS route.

Saints will have nothing to spend.

Replace McCluster with Hester. Unless someone overpays which is possible.

what does the market look like for guys like Clemons/Mitchell? does 4-5 million per do it? Do they get more or less?

I saw a report the other day on Clemons that said he'd likely get around 3-4 mill a year on a short term deal.

I think Mitchell will probably get around 4 for 16 so about 4 million a year.

Chiefs could easily afford that.

They have money to work with and can easily obtain more.

What should be noted is that they have to be under the cap at the start of the league year, they can technically go over that cap to sign someone and then restructure someone after.

Unless Hester finds a position to contribute elsewhere, I can't see that happening unless he took a big time discount to play for Toub.

The last part is a big risk unless you have an ace in your back pocket.

Hali, Bowe and Berry need to help things if this team is gonna push it with this window we have.

Did we ever get some of those contracts reworked?

O.city 03-08-2014 12:06 PM

Were at 9 something mil right now, is that before the rollover?

Mother****erJones 03-08-2014 12:11 PM

I just want a rock solid FS. Whomever it may be in free agency. TBG, any FA targets at WR?

And any interest in Arthur Jones?

I don't understand their math.

We have 122 in salary commitments and he cap is 133 and we have a 2.45 rollover to account for.

We should have 13.5 million in cap space, not 9.?

Hope that happens. He's a good football player who will improve the back end of our defensive coverage AND come cheap.
He's been on my shortlist all offseason.
