I doubt this game hurts Mariota Stakes in the draft if he comes out. He was overwhelmed buy superior athletes across the board. This happens in College. I do think there may be some questions on arm strength and accuracy. He will need a great pro day to be top of the draft.

He'll be at the top. He protects the ball so well and that's a valuable skill, whereas Winston doesn't. He's 6-4 220 and he's smart and he's not a behavior risk/liked by teammates. He will go 1

I'm not impressed with Mariota or Winston. However, if the Chiefs had the top pick I'm sure I would talk myself into to believing one of them could be worth a shit

How many more years before Andrew Luck talent comes out?

I'd take Winston and Jones before Mariota. Mariota is a work in progress, IMO, whereas Winston and Jones could start from day one and improve over the course of the season.

there's a reason Pittsburgh has superbowls and a rapist QB and we have Alex Smith and nothing... |
running ability in college shouldn't be considered at all when evaluating QBs for the NFL. It's a bonus.
too often it doesn't translate because if the prospect cannot throw the ball at the nfl leve the defenses just shut the run down completely. scouts have to be concerned about Mariota |

Now, I'm not saying he'd pull a Big Ben and lead a team to a 15-1 record but whoever drafts him is going to get a helluva QB that will improve over the course of the season. |

I haven't seen him make throws into tight windows or anticipate receivers coming open and throwing to a spot. I have seen him throw a few nice deep balls that his receivers have made great catches on and I've seen him use his feet to extend drives and plays. |
