I wish search would work so I could dig up my gifs of him from a thread a few months ago. He's going to drop passes obviously. But the upside is incredible.

I always liked this play lol http://media.fyre.co/vSSkehhDS6unmXj...defender-a.gif

We run a crap load of quick hitch routes like this in our offense.

That's fine but the Chiefs can't draft "potential" in the second or even third round this year. They need automatic, Day One starters.

But give Coates a chance. He's raw as can possibly be. But if he can learn the offense and learn how to run proper routes in this system he could be a stud. Physically, he's a beast.

There's other WR's in the draft who's upside is just as high.

Tbh, i wouldn't complain if they drafted him. He's just not the guy i want is all.

Take Devin Smith then.

And hope Alex can throw downfield.

I doubt he'll be there when the Chiefs pick in the 3rd. If they want him, they need to get him in the 2nd.

That's if they want him.

Personally, I'd rather have Rashard Greene. I think he's another perfect WCO receiver but if Maxx Williams is there and Kendricks is gone, Williams would be my pick.

I'm not sold on Collins but there will be someone available in that spot that will make an impact

3rd round is about right for a decent C.

It's not flashy but we do need some competition at the spot...

If they chose a center in the third, I'd expect him to start, if not this year, next year.

I can't see them taking a center before the fifth. Get a developmental guy like Kush that just needs an NFL training table and guidance.

**** drafting one period. Go sign DelaPuente to a 1-2 year deal to sit behind Kush.

Rotoworld's 2nd and 3rd round Mock Draft:

2nd - Eric Kendricks, ILB, UCLA
3rd - Tre McBride, WR, William and Mary
3rd - B.J. Finney, C, Kansas State

La'El Collins goes one pick after Finney to the Bengals. Give me Collins with our last 3rd round pick and Dorsey would get an A+ for the first two days of the draft.

Christ, I'd trust the guy to cure world hunger at that point.

A draft of Peters, Kendricks, McBride and Collins....JIMP wouldn't even do that justice. I would jizz through my pants.

O.city 05-01-2015 03:01 PM

Trade finney with Collins and yeah, lookout

No one's asking you to help pay his salary.

It's one thing if Kush is the best guy for the job. It's another thing completely to depend on it working out because we have no other option...

Why wouldn't you just go with Conley at that point?

If you're going to spend time breaking a WR of bad habits, go with the guy who pretty well bests him athletically across the board.

I like Conley a lot but I've been thinking about him more in the 5th. Maybe I'd pull the trigger with that last 3rd if we keep losing options we like better before that. Otherwise he's no better than a 4th round prospect. Given that his ceiling fits the system better than Coates ceiling, I'd take him about a round before where I'd be willing to take Coates.

So ultimately that leaves me not terribly interested in Coates until the 5th and he'd go well before that. Truthfully, if Coates and Diggs were still on the board, I'd probably prefer Diggs.
