I will say this, Alex can sure beat third string qbs and teams with awful records.

Actually, it appears that the Decent Alex turns into the Bad Alex when his team gets behind.....which happens less with third string QBs and bad teams. Not sure why, but his game seems to go to hell under the pressure of having to make a comeback. Interdasting.

3-point deficits are just too much for the poor guy.

Nah, he's better than that.....but not much. He sure as shit can't come back from -14 nor make a fourth quarter comeback. Actually, you'd think the Law of Large Numbers would kick in and he'd simply get lucky with a comeback, but nope. Guy has some serious anti-mojo sphincter pucker going on. Pretty impressive, in a non-impressive sort of way. Dude is a conundrum.

Never, honey poo. Never. Shhhhh, go to sweepy. Nobody said ANY THING MEAN!!! Here, give us a hug.

Dude, he's the GOAT, and even he has had plenty of stretches where he was less than stellar. He gotten flustered. He gotten hurried. He's been reliant on the rest of his team to carry him.

Not stretches as in entire seasons. Stretches, periods of time when you're not at your best.

What you're suffering is nostalgia, which is fine. There's plenty of Brady highlights to form nostalgia around. And he's probably playing his best ball ever now.

You're refusal to accept this is an element of proof of my hypothesis that we as Chiefs fans judge Chief QB play more against the ESPN highlight reel than a broader understanding of the game.

Brady was an abortion at Arrowhead last year and even Pats fans were calling for his head. How soon people forget when it's other teams.

Yep and at the same time you have shitty QBs look like franchise guys for a game, a few game stretch of even for a season. Geno had a perfect qb rating the last game of the season, Fitzpatrick had 6TDs in a game, Matt Cassell 2010 oerformance. ASS11 has even had a few really good games and not horrible total seasons in his 10 year career.

It's easier to find a Joe Flacco in the draft than to build an elite defense. You know, the super bowl mvp who scored 34 against the third ranked defense in 2013.

Buffalo has had a great defense the past few years, how have they done without a franchise quarterback?
