In his fourth year with the Chargers he threw 27 TD's with 7 INT's and had a 104.8 QB Rating. It took him 4 years in New Orleans before he put up better numbers than that.

You're wrong. You're also a crude person.

I'm not wrong. In his fifth season he regressed and threw 24 TD's and 15 INT's. Remember this is while quarterbacking the team with the best RB in football and the second best TE in football. Payton made Brees what he is today. Schottenheimer or whatever other dipshit coach San Diego would have given Brees wasn't going to turn him into a HOF QB.

And you can take your assessment of me and shove it up your gaping, dripping pussy.

All I know is that the Chargers have had two Franchise QB their roster since 2001, with Brees a sure fire HOFer.

Meanwhile, the Chiefs have had Green, Collins, Huard, Croyle, Thigpen, Cassel, Palko, Quinn, Orton, Smith and Daniel start during that time.

Quantity definitely does not equal quality.

This is depressing to read.

I think you're giving Payton a little too much credit. I agree that his best years came in New Orleans but I think Brees would've been good without Payton.

He was "good" in San Diego and they didn't win a damn thing. He became "great" under Payton in New Orleans.
