I find checks a useful way to pay for my fluff & fold laundry. That way I don't have to have the awkward moment where I ask them to give me $2 back from $40 so I can tip them a reasonable amount. Other than that my checkbook barely moves - medical stuff.
Faxing still happens a lot for official documents like home loan stuff.
Pay phone lol - but I did see a guy using one in Yosemite where cel coverage didn't work. So that one I bet actually gets used a lot. It literally never would have occurred to me that I could use the pay phone - I'm so used to ignoring them.
You know.. The only place that I still notice them is in front of Convience stores.

There's a notorious pay phone across the street from me at a 24/7 Kangaroo and I see crackheads on it all the time lol
