What you can do and what you should do are two different things. You're being a dick to people that almost certainly don't want you parking there (as made obvious by their call for security) because you're either lazy or pissed off at your employer.

The funny thing is that I live in a very dense part of Denver, so I always have cars parked in front of my house. It's just life in the city.
So as you bring this up, it made me ponder my earlier response to not park in a residential area. It just seems weird in some neighborhoods because there are no cars parked there, but in my neighborhood it's normal. I don't even think about it.
