Schedule is rough just like this year. We pulled some wins out our butts with crazy plays that won't happen again. Caro should have been a loss. Atl should have been a loss. Not seeing 12-4 in 17. Not seeing us be much with Smith at QB.

I don't make predictions until I see what the roster(s) look like, including our competition in the AFCW

Blind guess of 11-5 going by Reid's average here. The problem is that this team is not elite at any one thing except maybe turnover differential assuming we keep playing Fitzpatrick and Bortles every year. Heart stopping games can go either way so we can just easily be 7-9 as we could be 12-4.
Reid seems to lack the SB or bust mentality especially when coaching a bottom tier franchise desperate for recognition. Why is the OL coach still employed? Why do we have two dummy OCs? Why take 30 seconds to relay a sideways pass through two hops to the QB? Reid is not demanding excellence. No drive, no urgency, no willingness to improve, same 7 minute offense, same wasted timeouts but hey players are leaving as family so we got that going for us. |
I predict that we will Dorsey will amass even more talent, which will inevitably be undermined by Alex Smith's severe limitations and Andy Reid's poor play-calling and reeruned clock management.

We likely will miss the playoffs

Send half the team to the Pro Bowl and be one and done in the playoffs...
|
Minimal changes made, Hali & DJ retire, we roll with Smith and crew.
WC at best and we lose in the first round again. |

9-11 wins, probably one and done, unless drawing Texans or similar 2nd tier team in first game.

One playoff win in four years. Normal situations like this the coaches/GMs in the NFL would be under fire in this year, year five.
It'll be interesting to see what the plan is to get over the hump. I'm not real excited though. |
