There's a radio host out here in Phx named Bob Kemp. Some of you old timers may recall his name from the Sporting News Radio days. I believe he was an SI sportscaster of the year a few years back as well. Anyway, he certainly has no dog in the fight and he said the following today:
"Alex Smith was named to the Pro Bowl with 15 TD passes. One of the best pieces of evidence ever that the Pro Bowl should be abolished" That is all |

the nfl ****ed up when they moved it to before the superbowl. it needs to go back to the way it was 10 years ago. all the pro bowlers went to those games unless injured. |

Smith could never replace Carr

Since this is a team sport, how about the Chiefs are the 3rd winningest TEAM over the last 6 years? It was a TEAM loss that I put squarely on shoulders of the coaching staff. |
Fitting that the Chiefs tweeted this with a picture of Smith running the ball.
Maybe we've got an anti-Smith mole on the inside. |
Sure it was a team loss on Sunday. A good QB plays well enough to overcome those other things though. A good QB doesn't miss surefire touchdowns, or throw to the wrong shoulder of a receiver streaking down the field with a few yards of separation from the defender. I can't believe how many apologists think 172 yards is a good enough performance from a professional qb. **** Alex Smith.

this is what 15 passing touchdowns gets you these days? sad
