The problem is you are feeling like shit. My advice is sober up, go to therapy, sleep, eat, put up with feeling bad because feeling bad is apart of life. Accept grief heartbreak failure setbacks as apart of life and learn to cope with them. If this fails get on on depression drugs. Of course you want do any of this because people waste their time trying to see if they have a problem or not and **** around until they feel better and they don't learn shit. Then another crisis occurs and they didn't learn shit from the last time so they do the same bullshit again.

Just because you don't like it doesn't make it not true. Drink yourself to death and literally no one give a ****, maybe your mom. Everyone else will be thinking about lunch more than your death. Once you let go of this idea that you have to change you cn begin to decide what you want.

I definitely have a drinking problem, I have two hands but only one mouth HI-O!

So long as you can afford it, are not ending up blacking out, are not making wildly stupid errors in judgement (like driving drunk, domestic violence, losing loved ones and friends, neglecting life responsibilities, etc).. then keep on keeping on.

Nothing wrong with steady boozing. Just keep track of things, and don't let it escalate into a true problem.

Or perhaps it's my anxiety and I'm sure I'll be flamed for it. Ever since this summer it has not been uncommon for me to drink 3-4 a night this happened when my gf left me. I keep taking tests online and there has been no definitive answer. My friends and family have yet to express concern. I just wish there was an answer.

Let me put it this way - if you feel like you have a problem, you do.

When I got back from Viet Nam and was then stationed in Germany, I drank like a fish (no, I mean seriously). Lots of anger, resentment, PTSD - all of that was coming out.

One morning, around 7am - I woke up, laying in the street in Heidelberg, with people stepping over me. I told myself then - "Jesus man - this shit HAS to stop!"

I started cutting my drinking back - to the point where all these years later - I 'Might" drink 3-4 beers a year and that's it.

I think that - and the idea that my Wife would have kicked me to the curb 35 years ago pretty much put the kabash on my drunkeness....and let's face it - I was a stinking drunk after Viet Nam.

Hey bud, just gotta stop drinking and wallow in the sadness for a while. After a bit you'll be desensitized to it and move on.

redfan 11-12-2017 07:15 PM

How many drinks do you have before work?
