I'd rather watch notorious star in a SyFy Original remake of Pumpkinhead than watch another Alex led Chuefs game

Syfy throws some serious eye-candy into their movies. I'm in.

Every QB misses open targets.

But most don't miss them nearly as often.

Do you have data to back this up?

That isn't the same thing. He made a statement of fact, I would like to see data to back it up. How many wide open receivers does Brady miss average per game vs. Alex Smith. Same with Ben and Rogers, etc. I think it would be an interesting and worthwhile comparison.

Just look at their average production over the course of their careers, both individually and the offenses they have been in.

This isn't rocket science. Stop making excuses for a lame duck QB, homer.

I'm not making excuses for anyone. Milkman made a statement as if it were a fact instead of an opinion. If you make a statement of fact you should be able to show the facts to back it up. I mean how does he know it is a fact if he doesn't have the data to back it up?

If you read back in the thread you'll see where I agreed with someone who was critical of Smith. Some of you douchebags don't even pay attention.

You don't need hard data to prove that Alex Smith misses more open receivers than Tom Brady. The proof is in their career production.

Give brady our weapons...

I bet he'd win the freaking super bowl

Robinson would be a 75/1100 receiver too.

I can't imagine what Kelce would do......

I don't know what the stat lines will necessarily look like because there's only so many passes to go around, but I do know that Patrick will throw it into tight windows consistently and will find the open man and hit him without hesitation... that alone will be a welcome sight.

One thing is for certain, the defense will have to defend the entire field. Mahomes will also make chicken salad out of chicken shit with his arm instead of his legs.

Naw man, this new mantra is just stupid. One could post up multiple "missed wide open target" for every QB in most every game.

Real football is not ****ing Madden. Real QBs do not see every ****ing target all at the same time.. nor can all (most? Pat?) click a button and throw lasers from any angle or standing/running position.

The main problem happening is two-fold.

Alex Smith is not a natural, instinctual QB. He is for the most part.. robotic.. and systematic. That can be very good when everyone does their job as dialed up. That can be very bad, when people are ****ing up around him.

Andy Reid's shit has been analyzed.. and ****ing figured out. When a defense knows what you are up to? you better play perfect football to still beat them. Otherwise.. you are improvising... which goes back to the Alex Smith problem.

No run game. No balance. Defense knows what you are doing, and ****ing up the pre-snap reads. Not good improvising.

all = trouble.

THIS alone is why I actually think Mahomes can save us.. this year. Beyond this year, can he adjust accordingly? eh.. dunno.. up to him.

Ok, so Alex Smith is robotic.... And Madden is a game that can be played via robotic consoles. And Madden isn't real football....therefore is it safe to assume that Alex isn't real football because he's a robot?!?!
