Timeliness is important in some functions of my business and that periodically requires me to put on my big boy shorts and toughen up. |

Eh. I have no idea. If i had to guess, i miss about 10 days or less a year due to either getting sick, doctors appointment or a family event such as a graduation, school play etc. But i more than make up for those days with non scheduled hours that i work pretty much every week. And i'm salaried so....

I took 7 this year. A very high number for me. We get PTO. Knee surgery. Florida and moving kid home from college. I have rarely taken that much time off.
But I only "work 180 days." Damn teachers. |

I can't complain at all......having said that I have missed 1 day sick this year. One day with a stomach virus that pretty much ate me up for a day....but luckily we can carry over sick time as long as it doesn't accumulate past a certain number of hours. |

3 days, and I had to be told in no uncertain terms to go home

I’ve missed more than your poll goes to. All in, about 2 months, mostly on short term disability and hospital stays.

Three. Caught what I am guessing was the flu, even though I got the shot. I never go to work with a fever. Pretty rude.
