After what happened last year, how is the field not in perfect shape?

They made a big production in the pregame show about how much effort was put into it and how perfect it was?

I heard a theory that the field I built for soccer which has much smaller less powerful guys running around and when you put all these 220-300lb dudes on it as well as guys wit the power tour 4.4 40's etc...it doesn't hold up.


It looked to me like the sod was too new.

yeah the 3-4 tears you usually see players limping or favoring the leg. They are off the leg immediately too. If it’s a 3-4, the Chiefs allowing him to stand up on it will be malpractice.

Hope it’s a grade 1 and he’s ready to go against the Raiders.

I read somewhere that they installed the sod a little over two weeks ago. Probably didn't have time for the root systems to anchor enough in that time.

Another thing, and I could be wrong, but that sod didn't look like "football" grass.

They are going to expand the season to 17 games and every team will do at least one game in another country every year.

I imagine that will probably impact revenue considerably.
