Yeah, even if there is shenanigans at play here, someone checking off a list would catch that easily. This is classic Chiefs fail all the way.

Did you read the ****ing report... They couldn't unload until this morning as there was Highschool games at foxboro last night.

This is how it works... The flight lands, equipment containers are moved off the plane by local crews and transported by local crews to Foxboro... The equipment people wouldn't know until they were able to unpack the gear at the stadium, which they did.

Do you think ground crews just leave giant containers on planes that are chartered... This was incompetence or cheating, but neither by the Chiefs.
