You can't just move a guy to the PS, he has to go through waivers unless he has 4 or more accrued seasons. Kinnard was kept on the 53 man roster because he'd be plucked like an overripe berry by another team.

I know it seems to be the thing nowadays on CP to joke about Niang getting injured but I really hope he's just had bad luck and is not injury prone. Do I think he's a potential future HOFer at RT? No, of course not. But I did see improvement from him throughout the season last year. And I think he could solidify that RT spot for years to come. I think we all, as Chiefs fans, should be hoping for that.

Niang is back at practice. We will see how he does. They have 21 days to activate him or he will remain on IR for the rest of the season.

Holy shit, I completely forgot this guy was on the team.

Niang put himself on the shit list when he quit on the team during his rookie season.

Yep, and a few of us caught a lot of flak when we questioned his heart based on him bailing on his rookie year.

Tell us you drive with a mask on alone in your car without telling us...

I dont' think he's a great RT by any means, but I think he was a good player. Hope he comes back healthy.

Niang was the only rookie to quit/"opt out" of the 2020 season.

I completely agree. He is easily better than Wylie when healthy.
