Good for Sac but the rest of the SF Bay Area hasn't been so lucky. Now they are closing schools between 11 and 1:00 to "lessen the load on the system."

Yeah, A/C is necessary in SoCal for about two weeks out of the year. We just happen to be in those two weeks right now. It's always mid-late August.

We've had many rolling blackouts here in Johnson County, unfortunately. It even ruined dinner a couple times when I was seated at a restaurant.

Without air con, Florida would still be a backwater state. It feels like it’s 115 degrees for 5 months out of the year.
