Seems insane to me that that they would want a new stadium that soon. I’ve never been there, but I’m sure it’s still in great shape if Arrowhead is still nice after 50 years.

Maybe it was made with Chinese steel.

The most surprising part of this story: The Broncos still have season ticket holders.

LMAO

FedEx Field is right at 27 years and it is a ****ing mess and rust bucket. Just like any construction near D.C., there was poor quality and shortcuts taken while costs ballooned.

One of the biggest piece of shit stadiums I have ever set foot in.

Even the Light Rail station is about a mile walk from the stadium. I take the Bronco bus when I go to games and it's basically a bus that goes from outskirt park and ride directly to the stadium. When the game is over you get on the bus for your park and ride and get to your car and drive home that way. It also gives you a little more time to sober up if you need that kind of thing

That's the same setup as Giants games (I went to see our Chiefs there pre-Jesus). Very handy not having to drive, though it kills the tailgate experience.

So, you work with the city and unshittify the area it is located. You don't spend another few billion to just relocate and then leave that shell.

The Texas Rangers did this in Arlington and I think that was stupid.

True. It really is in a good area, right off the interstate.

Domes are for the kind of people who put ketchup on steak

Or trash franchises like the St. Louis Rams

Mahomes puts ketchup on his steaks. You saying domes are for people like him?

I love domes. I eat my steak rare with no sauce on it.

And bite your tongue, our fearless leader Patrick Mahomes puts catsup on his steak.

Weird. You'd think they'd be more worried about getting a real QB in Denver first.

Pile High was built on the cheap and it shows. I think old mile high was in better shape than the current stadium is now

This was nearly my exact thought. Why build a stadium now? The only thing I can come up with is to hide their incompetence from passing satellites . . .

Is this arena football?
