Bills 31 Chiefs 24

The Bills are a better all-around team than the Packers, who just handled the Chiefs. The Bills are getting healthy on offense and their pass catching options will exploit the middle of the field where Bryan Cook and Drue Tranquils absence will be felt. Two highly skilled tight ends are going to be a problem when their strong wideouts keep the defensive backfield honest. Add to that a renewed focus on the running game, including Josh Allen, and Spags will need to use all of his creativity to keep the Bills under 30.

On the flip side, we’re a few weeks past Thanksgiving and we know what this Chiefs offense has to offer and it isn’t good. Penalties, drops and, now, injuries are too much for even the greatest player of all time to overcome. Andy and Nagy can scheme up the best game plan, but the players haven’t been able to execute well over the last several weeks.

We’re basically hoping for the Chiefs to play mistake free while relying on the Bills to make mistakes. It can happen, but the stats would indicate otherwise. The Bills are amongst the top scoring offenses and they make up for frequent turnovers by taking the ball back just as often.

I like the Chiefs to finish the season strong after this game and ride into the playoffs with a surge of momentum when it matters the most. The Bills win their Super Bowl this week and then wilt the rest of the season like a dollar store flower bouquet given to a cheap prostitute on schmo’s first payday.

Shake things up a bit. Win the coin toss and take the ball. Go down and score. Play from the front all day instead of chasing the lead.

Delano is usually very balanced and fair in his takes.

There is nothing wrong with that analysis. It doesn't account for the Bills being 1-4 on the road and 1-4 against teams .500 or better, which is what I'm clinging to.

There is a lot working against the Chiefs in this game, but the Bills are what their record says they are.

No one in the NFL is better playing shorthanded than Andy Reid. He got Matt Moore to eke out a win over the Vikings.

Who is everyone cheering for today?

KC (Chiefs - home team) for me.

The one factor that’s hard to account for is the Bills reaction to the McDermott hit piece. It could galvanize the team. It could also trigger the Ginger’s nerves and send him spiraling considering the ultimate pivotal nature of this matchup.

I haven't been nervous about a Chiefs game all year until today. Feels like a playoff game.

So is this the first confirmation that we've gotten that Donovan Smith is out for sure, or did we already know that?

Dude, they hate their own coach. Diggs hates him. Allen is ambivalent.

I think it is bad juju for them. The first sign of things going wrong, how can they go to their HC to rally them? They know he's full of shit!
