Well they definitely shouldn't call the contract fully guaranteed if Cleveland is able to get out of it. If their is a way for them not to pay, then the contract isn't really guaranteed.

Also, apparently the browns are on the hook based on all the pending accusations he would have disclosed at time of signing. They may not be on the hook for anything that falls outside of that. And this apparently falls into that.

Will be super interested if the browns can maneuver and even if they can, can they shed the contract entirely? I would imagine they can’t weasel out of bonus money where Watson has already been paid. So do they still have to take the obscene cap charge until all of that is paid off? I’d have to think so.
