I was surprised at how firey DV is. That old guy doesn't fug around. |
Yeah, please don't drop the connections just because you don't see anybody currently pulling. That way when they do pull it'll be nice and quick and you won't even have to lose much bandwidth. Also, if there's enough seeders for a file and few people are downloading we could even max out the total downloads caps for them all. Say there's 100 people seeding. It wouldn't take the max of all 100 to allow a few people speeds of over 100kb/sec. So just because your upload looks like it's slow doesn't mean there's no action. A few people turn these off and boom...SLOW again.
If you're getting slow downloads you are probably behind a router, software firewall or both. If so, you'll need to open ports 6881-6889. This will allow more people to connect to you...and in turn allows for more shared bandwidth and way faster downloads. |
Those of you with the complete file here please open it back up and seed. We've got some people trying to download and it's going very slow.
thanks! Drew |

Thanks! We all appreciate it. |
When you open up the torrent again you have to point it to the directory where you've already got the entire thing downloaded. Instead of downloading it will do a "checking" process and then start "sharing."
Thanks! We all appreciate it.[/QUOTE] :thumb: OK, hope this helps. |
I opened mine back up to help download speeds. :thumb:
