It is either 15 yards or 20 yards in the NFL. I am pretty sure that "deep pass" in the NFL means over 15 yards from line of scrimmage.

12 ****ing years, try forty ****ing 3. 12 years, this ****ing guy! lol

I remember all of their superbowl wins in the 80's and 90's lol. If i was a chief fan and they won as many as the Niners did and the Chiefs sucked for the last 12 years, id be ok with it. lol

I was a ****ing teenager thee last time they won a play off game. Im about to be 37 lol

Scroll to 1:00.
Vernon Davis makes the catch 33 yards beyond scrimmage
Ball travels 39 yards through the air.

So I think 35 yards from scrimmage is about his maximum range.

QBs I would take over Alex Smith.

Tom Brady
Peyton Manning
Aaron Rogers
Drew Brees
Joe Flacco
Andrew Luck
Colin Kaepernick
Matt Ryan
Russell Wilson
Robert Griffin
Eli Manning
Matt Schaub
Matt Stafford
Josh Freeman

Alex is an average starting NFL QB. He is good, very good. He is not great and will never be near elite. But I would take Alex Smith over half the other QBs including Cutler and Romo and Roethlisberger, who is becoming fragile.

It has been discussed ad nauseam.

You either grab some other team's retread slapdick QB...which works about 3 percent of the time...

OR

You roll the dice on a QB in the 1st round.

Which wins Super Bowls more consistently than any other strategy in NFL history.

What's it gonna be? More slapdicks? Why?

Either way, you still have the 34th pick in the draft to play with to build your future.

lies, and more lies from your filthy cock gobbler. Alex Smith targeted michael crabtree more than anyone else this year, with DELANIE walker coming in second. Nice try though

They are talking the 9ers will take a QB to replace Alex Smith as a back up by moving up in the draft to take one. They have 12 picks so the 9ers can do pretty much what they want to get their guy. Who do you think the 49ers are eyeing to take to be backup to Keap?

Ej Manuel, or Matt Scott. Both are Harb types......You gotta be careful asking that douche bag, he only speaks fluent Kaepernicksdickinhis mouth.

BS. In Alex's only 300 yard game last year, the 49ers slaughtered the Buffalo Bills. It was a rout. 45-3. 300 yards passing and 300 yards rushing. WTF you mean the shit hit the fan if the 49ers hit 300 yards passing?

Are you sure you are a 49ers fan?

The current 49ers WR corps with Crabtree and Anquan Boldin smokes the KC receiving corps.

If you can't remember that the 49ers just stole Boldin for a 6th rounder, surely you are not a 49er fan. Are you just trolling or what?

so you are 50/50, because in your lovers only 300 yard game, he had to throw because of his shitty play in the first half putting the 49ers so deep in a hole.

So you are both wrong/right, depending on what ****ing side you want to take.

Kyle Williams was making a ton of progress as a WR before he hurt his knee. He will be a nice #3 WR behind Crabtree, Boldin and Manningham.

Anybody who says that the above WR group is worse than the KC wide receiver group is just a fool.

I don't even guess. The GM is Trent Baalke. He only takes these guys he calls "gold helmet" guys. It is the stuff beyond the numbers. Character, work ethic, knowledge of football history, family bonding, etc.

So since he has his own little private list, there is no guessing who he likes.

I think you are right, that they take another QB project to work on behind Kaepernick. Small possibility they just let Colt McCoy and Scott Tolzien duke it out for the backup job, but I'm with you. I think they will add a draft pick to push both those guys in camp.

Jim Harbaugh loves developing project QBs. He needs a pet project to work on in camp. Then when he coaches him up high enough, he can trade him to the Chiefs for a 1st rounder. (Sorry, couldn't help myself... Kidding)

Just don't be surprised if Jim Harbaugh coaches Colt McCoy up into a pretty damn good QB.

Hey, Chiefs fans could do worse than to have Jim Harbaugh find and develop the Chief's next QB. It would be head and shoulders over Alex Fing Smith.

Only 2 more days before we know the answers to all these questions.

Draft starts tomorrow! It is like Christmas in April. In about 18 hours, you Chiefs fans will know who you picked first overall.

just goes to show you how andy reid really felt about this qb draft class. Instead of waiting and getting Carson Palmer, or waiting for Kevin Kolb, or trading for Matt Flynn, he wanted, and over paid for Alex Smith.

meh. Hes a douche. Hes the worst kind too. Hes the one that runs over here, slurps you guys, then runs back copies and paste the shit you guys says, and has fun with it. He doesnt care about your guys, he just wants to rub it in as long as possible that the 49ers ****ed you, giving you a guy that he cant stand.

They would have had to pay Alex Smith starter pay to keep him. So, you throw some money into that equation, and for the backup position that is true.

EJ Manuel or Matt Scott + $7 million free cap > Alex Smith backup, for the team.

If we were paying our backup $9 million then obviously we would be screaming as well.

Sweet Daddy Hate 04-24-2013 07:49 AM

Andy "loves" Matt Scott. Niners shall be denied. As for me, his name sounds like Cassel and Peeholi had a baby. I hate him already.

Are you really male? I don't believe it. Admit it, you are a 32 year old virgin spinster with fear of pregnancy issues. Am I close?

Go get a brazil wax, have a bottle of wine, buy a vibrator and relieve your tension. It will chill you out from being an uptight pussy bitch. Your PMS is a drag on this forum.
