UPDATED......
I think Dwayne Bowe might be behind Baldwin's migrane issue..... |
Recent migraine problems?
Migraines are something you just deal with. You get them or you do not get them. You don't get one 'this one time'. It's more like epilepsy. I get them a 3-4 times a year. They strike like venous snakes and the pain is ridiculous. If you just 'suddenly' start getting them often, there may be a serious underlying medical issue behind it... or you're being a dramatic pussy. |

Updated....... Two TE sets? Sounds good to me. Two RB sets? Sounds good to me. More time for Allen Bailey? I like that idea.

Updated...... training camp news.....

Tony Ugoh,... why is that name sound familiar to me? Seems like I may have included him in a draft wish list once upon a time.

It's good to see that we are slowly starting to get our defensive players back. I think Bailey will be a key player when he returns. |

I know the season is still young, but these injuries are really getting on my nerves. |
Updated......
Hope we get Hillis back soon. And Kendrick Lewis too. I guess Wylie will replace McCluster. I don't know what will happen with the C position. |
Updated..... Injuries, injuries, injuries... I hate injuries.

Bowe with a thigh, Breaston with a knee and Wylie with a hamstring.
Not good. Baldwin is literally the only 100% healthy WR we got. Well, and Terrance Copper. |

Updated..... On one hand, I'm sick of all of these injuries. On the other hand, what difference does it really make when Cassel is our QB, Crennel is our coach and Pioli is our GM.

1. Chiefs - QB Geno Smith, West Virginia The recent success of second- and third-round quarterbacks is either a new trend or an outlier, because from 2001-2010, only two quarterbacks selected in that two round span can be considered dependable starters (Drew Brees and Matt Schaub). With that said, there is large group of signal callers that could be considered second- or third-round talents this season. Kansas City and Andy Reid can’t afford to wait on whichever one might fall to the outside of the first-round, instead, this is one of the few opportunities a team can chose their favorite from the entire bunch. |

There is a lot of "The Kansas City Chiefs could" speculation, but not much in the way of real information. Basically they are saying the Chiefs could draft pretty much any of the top prospects at #1 or trade down, which isn't exactly a news flash.

Just waiting to hear Jackson and Cassel have been cut use that money to re-sign Albert and Bowe

god damnit alex cassel smith is gonna be our starter next year isnt he. ****
|
as long as it's paired with Geno Smith/Tyler Wilson/Matt Barkley/Whichever guy Reid likes best in the draft at QB, I'm okay with that.
Better to have options, and insurance, AND a future. I hope it's Geno, but I think you'd be real smart to sign an Alex Smith AND draft your QBOTF as well. And not some 4th round project, a REAL QBOTF. |

Starter: Alex Smith
2nd QB: Geno Smith 3rd QB: Chase Daniel |
For the two posts above mine 2 things.
1. Alex isn't going to come to place where he'll likely be replaced quickly. He shouldn't either. IMO, he deserves a chance to start on a team somewhere. It isn't KC IMO. 2. If he was truly content with coming here knowing he'd be the backup/mentor to Geno, then by all means sign him up. I just don't think he'd want to come here knowing he can be replaced fairly easily, possibly by the end of PS. |

Alex Smith could go to a shithole like Arizona or Cleveland and be guaranteed to start, or he could come to a team like the Chiefs that have a good chance of winning and take a chance. That is his choice, but if it was me I'd want to win. His career probably won't last long anyway if he goes to one of the shithole teams. |

you think Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees, Eli Manning, Big Ben, etc have ANY COMPETITION or fear of being replaced anytime "soon" lollllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll get out of here with that logic. If you have a good QB you ride him until his legs fall off, in your examples Joe Montana and Brett Farve had like 2 or 3 good years left at best and were well into the mid to late thirties and there was young QBs waiting to be good for those teams for the next decade+ |

Some of you need to wake up.
Alex Smith wants out because he wants to start and some of you want to trade for him to be a backup. FFS the guy has a starters contract and wants out because he wants to play. |

I hope AZ cuts Kolb loose so we can sign him to Huard-like money as our backup, and then go get our guy at #1.

WCO guy, understands where he is in his career, would be a great team guy. The Titans are a mess and I can see Hasselbeck requesting a release. |
Hasselback is like 1000 years old.
I'd take him on a 1 year vet min deal. That's about it. I'd like to see them sign Matt Moore to a 3 year deal or just develop Stanzi. |
