LSU's offensive coordinator's job is reduced to trying to decide what play he wants to use to get 10 yards.

BigMeatballDave 01-07-2008 09:52 PM

Lauranitis is a fraud. He hasn't done shit tonight.

Either that or he's being secretly bought off by OSU Booster to let OSU make it at least closer.

eazyb81 01-07-2008 09:52 PM

Our 1st round pick just picked off Flynn (after we trade down a few spots).

Coach 01-07-2008 09:53 PM

Christ Almighty... that play was blown up way before it even got going.

eazyb81 01-07-2008 09:54 PM

I can't stand the playcalling by this OSU team. They act like they are playing in the 50's - open it up!

Coach 01-07-2008 09:54 PM

Touchdown, Ohio State.

Pablo 01-07-2008 09:54 PM

Wow..maybe there's hope.

Just maybe..but probably not.

Bearcat 01-07-2008 09:54 PM

Damn.

It'd be funny to see what would happen if Michigan and Rich Rodguerez got his players in the spread offense in Michigan, playing aganist Ohio State's offense.....

Yikes...

Looks like a Solari-run offense...

Why does LSU keep ordering their QB to commit suicide? It's the one play that OSU never seems to allow.

I'm sure he will, at least 50% of it, while the underclassmen would more than likely got more than that.

Once he gets his players in, along with a QB that can run like a rabbit, along with a RB as well.

I'm just saying that offense won't hit it's full potentional until he gets the right skill players that he needs, which could mean at least 2-3 years, provided if he gets some of the ciritical players in this years recruting. If he misses out, then it'll just take another year.

Have you seen Self's bench? I saw it the other day and it looked like 9 white guys. Probably really 4 or 5.

Oh yeah..I know, I don't think Rodriguez really has it in him to play Big 10 style ball, it would probably kill his soul. It's gonna take a little while before they run the offense he'd like to, but I'm sure he'll be pulling some tricky sh*t out next season.

From now on if OSU ends the season ranked #1 or #2 they should just opt out of the NC game and just go to the Rose Bowl.

BigMeatballDave 01-07-2008 10:27 PM

The only reason OSU is playing in this game, is KU, MU, and WVU couldn't handle their business. The BCS proves more and more every year, that this system blows. Play-offs.

I personally don't think it's fair that KU and MU have to deal with a conference championship game hurdle, and Ohio State doesn't.

I wouldn't go that far just quite yet. Dirty Sanchez is still somewhat inexperenced, and hope that he doesn't go around allegedly assaulting more women.

He has to WIN that job, Mitch Mustain is with USC now also...either way I'm more confident in either one of them than Booty, they can't be any worse.

Nope, Vince Young is planning to re-enroll at Texas next fall under a new alias...I think even he's realizing the only time his sh*tty scrambling, no passing, no defense-reading tactics work are in college...especially against USC.

If the Big XII didn't have a championship game, Missouri would be playing in it. Just like the Big 10/11/whatever doesn't have one.

Again, Missouri blew their shot. They did not deserve to be playing tonight. But OSU had their shot handed to them on a silver platter by the BCS and coaches/writers who voted them No. 1...... WHY? Because of.... WHAT? They did NOTHING. They beat NOBODY (sorry, but beating unranked Michigan doesn't mean shit, even though it's Michigan). This game should have featured Georgia, West Virginia or Oklahoma, IMO. And yes, I know OU got creamed, but still, they played and beat good teams.
