ok, for assasians creed....i started playing it last night and was wondering....DO THE CONTROLS GET EASIER TO GET THE HANG OF??? i think the game looks amazing so far but the controls are odd... am i the only one who thinks this?

I got the game right before my PS3 took the shitter so I didn't get to check it out (almost 2 weeks now and counting :( :cuss:)...but I heard the controls are hard.

Does anybody know how install a good version of linux on the PS3?

I want to be able to use the internet, yahoo, aim, word processing, and hopefully even download movies using an alternative operating system. I've seen videos on youtube kind of detailing it but just wanted to know if you guys have any experience with it and if it works well on a 40 gig.

Secondly, if I need to...what is a compatible hard drive for the PS3? Can you just get an ebook or something external to hook up? The 60 and 80 gig ones were really expensive and I don't really care about backwards compatibility with ps2 games.

Just google "ps3 hard drive upgrade" or similar text. There are even sites that show you how to do it. apparently it's pretty easy.

When you start the Show, go into the Online section (forgot what it's called), once you enter the online section, the very first thing it will ask you is if you want to DL the latest update, just say yes and save it to your PS3, then you can leave the online section and when you start a franchise or game in the system, just make sure to load that roster first and you're set!

Supposedly the big firmware patch for PSN is tonight. I hear there is a possibility of Home open beta going live. See what happens tonight.

I remember back in the day it was supposed to be released 2007, i just hope they make this game worth the wait, it looks pretty sick based off the screen shots

usually the GT's are a safe bet. i mean 1 to 2 2 to 3 where phenonominal jumps in regards to gameplay and quality. 3 to 4 was good as well but i think personally it lost points by adding the auto feature to races and endurance's. not saying it wasnt an amazing game b/c it was...however it could of had more cars. that being said GT5 is going to rock...

now however my sights are set on Bioshock 2 .... i PRAY it comes out for ps3...it had better it had better.....IT HAD BETTER!

Rumors are it most likely would be a PS3 release and possibly Wii as well

We're playing GT5 prologue at work right now. The game is out now. The new in-cockpit view is cool. POV of the driver's head and all the dash details are spot-on. The thing looks like a friggen film the lighting is really incredible.
The prologue game has 6 tracks and what's really cool is you can race 16 people on-line on PSN.

THe steering wheel controller comes out in a month, I think.

I really would like a DS3, but I own 2 SIXAXIS right now, and I'd never have 3 people playing at a time on my PS3.

Anyways, I heard that Multiplayer on GTAIV is supposed to be sick.

I really want to start up Army of Two, but I'm so addicted to COD4 and trying to get my kill/death ratio above 1.00...

I really sucked when I was new and at one point I had 1000 more deaths than kills. About 1000 Kills and 2000 deaths.

I have got that # down to about 230, so maybe when I get back to even I'll be ready to do something else.

But the COD4 Update is on Friday, and GTA IV comes out next Tuesday

ANyone play Heavenly Sword? i played the demo the other day. it seemed fairly entertaining. Reminded me alot of God of War.

It's actually a great game. Lots of sword action (Like G.O.W.) and a few shooting (crossbow) tasks sprinkled in. Plus, HOT chicks!

I paid 300 for the 60 gig version (basically Brand new) 2 controllers and 3 games. FN3, Resistance and Motorstorm. They are basically launch title games, but like i said they havent used it in like 6 months when i got it.

They've done it once before, it's cool. Everything is double its usual, for ex HQ a kill will be 10 xp and every 5 secs of holding the HQ is also 10 xp instead of 5.
